During this 40 day devotion, we will get to know who Jesus is, why he came and why we as Christians follow his commands so that we can have and enjoy true fellowship with Christ.
I grew up as a Rastafarian, and I know many of you grew up Catholic even some of you did not know Christ growing up. However, in the next 40-days, we plan to deepen our relationship with Christ and unshackle ourselves from the bondage of religion and sin, so we can worship and have unfiltered fellowship with Christ, just the way God intended it to be.
The plan for the next 40 days will be ;
Day 1- Day 10: Brenda and I will lead
Day 10- Day 30: Everyone will take turns to lead the devotion
Day 30- Day 40: Brenda and I will take over again.
I know some of you are panicking already at the thought of leading, but do not worry, we are here to help, and most importantly, so is the Holy Spirit!
During this time, there will be fasting, prayer partners, and God willing-we are able to meet again. We have also penciled in a celebration on Good Friday if we can meet in person, otherwise, we’ll meet online.
We will start on Tuesday 23rd February as it will be 40 days to Easter Sunday.
